Startup Europe Week 2019 was successfully organized on the 12th of March in Thessaloniki and ArtAbout was a proud partner!
Startup Europe Week is an initiative implemented by SEW and promoted by the European Commission and Startup Europe. This year’s Startup Europe Week Thessaloniki 2019, “Start up in a Digit World”, focused on the challenges and opportunities of start-ups in the digital world.
Dr. Dialechti Fotopoulou, ArtAbout’s Business Development Manager talked about the necessary soft skills young entrepreneurs should have, in the workshop “Tools for Martian Survival”.
Also, two other very interesting workshops on financing and legal challenges of new businesses were held, by Mrs. Lina Tsaltabasi, Director of the OECON Group and Mr. Athanasios-Antonios Leontaris, Ratio Legal Services Lawyer, respectively. Also, Mr Aris Kritikos, CEO of Oviview, talked about the need for digitalization in entrepreneurship, using examples from his own startup. The event closed with an open discussion of attending entrepreneurs and community representatives with Mrs Megan O’Rorke, CEO, Founder and Project Manager of various startups in San Francisco, California coordinated by Mrs. Lina Tsaltampasi.
The networking party that followed after gave startuppers the opportunity to interact with the local business ecosystem and exchange ideas.
Start up Europe Week Thessaloniki was co-organized by OECON Business and Development Consultants, Smart Umbrella and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Greece (SEGE). ArtAbout eCommerce Agency was a partner at Start up Europe Week Thessaloniki 2019, actively supporting the organization and communication of the event.
